As many of our fans know, Jaeson "Doc" Parsons was acquired by Maxim as their official Military Contributor, writing up to two articles a week with a military-theme. Maxim has been spending quite a bit of time and money to focus on the veteran and military community. In light of that focus, they have sponsored, in part, the Graffiti of War's National Art Exhibition.

Maximum Warrior - It's Go Time
Maximum Warrior is a one-of-a-kind competition that tests ten special ops operatives in action-packed, adrenaline-filled challenges ranging from pistol and carbine marksmanship to navigating an off-road driving course in a Jeep Wrangler. And this year, ten consumers also competed to see if they have the qualities of a Maximum Warrior by pairing them up with a special ops operative for a five-challenge pro-am competition.
Jeep Wrangler vehicles and branding were integrated into each and every challenge of the competition, and the winner of the Maximum Warrior competition got to drive off in a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Call Of Duty: MW3 Edition vehicle. In addition, one lucky consumer can enter-to-win for the chance to win one of 3500 special numbered 2012 Jeep Wrangler Call Of Duty: MW3 Edition vehicles through December 31st 2011!

Ten elite combat veterans on ten grueling missions — But only one will earn the title of Maximum Warrior, and a 2012 Jeep® Wrangler Call of Duty®: MW3 Edition. The other nine will get our sincere thanks. Watch each of their interviews and see if you can pick out the Maximum Warrior among them. And beginning November, we'll pair up a civilian with a Warrior to compete in a ten team, five challenge Pro-Am competition for $5000 a piece — and bragging rights.
-The Instructors-
Karl Erickson
The 2010 Maximum Warrior, Erickson returns to the same event he dominated a year earlier but this time as the organizer and key advisor. Since winning, Erickson has been working as an advisor at T1G(the facility hosting our competition), which he describes as "a Disney World for guys, or one-stop shopping for all the military training you need."
Raj Chowdhuri
An instructor at T1G, Raj knows this facility inside and out. A veteran of the USMC recon unit, Raj helped to design and test many of the events the warriors will be competing in. He notes that physical fitness and a general understanding of a variety of weapons will be the keys to success for the warriors.
Dakota Meyer
A United States Marine Corps veteran and competitor in the 2010 Maximum Warrior competition, the 23-year-old Meyer received the Medal of Honor from President Obama on September 15th, 2011. Meyer is here as an instructor and advisor to the competitors and says, "it's going to be physical, it's going to be realistic, and the warriors will be put to the test."
Jay Della Bella
On Anticipation for the Event... I was excited to meet the competitors in the event because I knew they were the best in their branch of the military. I have a lot of respect for what these guys have done and continue to do throughout their careers.

The Warrior begins by driving a Jeep® Wrangler up to the facility. After entering, the Warrior works his way through the facility to clear it of hostile targets with his rifle. Penalties will be applied for failure to engage enemy targets and engaging non-threats. When the Warrior reaches the last room, he is given the choice to engage an enemy target from a bonus shoot box, which can gain them an additional :30 :15 on their final time. Finally, the Warrior will drag a hostage dummy into the Jeep® Wrangler and drive it to the finish line. Fastest adjusted time wins.
