Welcome to our new fans! I just looked at Facebook and was surprised to see that more than 200 people like our page. Very cool! A big thanks to Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America for publishing our blog post to their front page. Doc has been in touch with Maxim, and it looks like we'll be mentioned in their upcoming military special. Look for it to hit the newsstand in September or October. We've also received positive feedback from a few other organizations who are going to help spread the word. Stay tuned for links to be posted. Watch our Facebook page for updates to other groups who are working to actively help veterans and/or raise awareness of how people are affected by their experiences in combat. Before we started this project, I was unaware of how many different people out there truly care about the troops and what happens to them after the shooting stops. As a veteran, I can't tell you how much that means. Folks like Rick Lawson at The War Experience Project or Keith Jeffreys at the United States Veterans' Artists Alliance are doing wonderful work. Keep it up folks!
