Also, we are creating a new page in our website that will offer items for sale, for the benefit of the project. These items will range in price, from $ to $$$ and the proceeds will help cover the costs associated with the marketing and spread of the project ideas. The materials, shipping and other costs associated with what we are trying to accomplish have become overwhelming and with the lack of donations, we needed to find a more effective way to aleviate the pressure of these costs. We hope to have this in place to coincide with the Maxim web page release.
On another front, we have finally been authorized by Fluor, the company that runs the MWRs in Afghanistan to disply our brochures in select facilities across this theater of war. We now have a presence in Iraq and Afghanistan and this could not come at a better time. We would like to thank our contacts at Fluor, KBR, the DOD and officals at the MWR for providing us with this exciting opportunity. For those of you that have family, friends, or neighbors that are getting ready for deployment, please let them know they can find our brochures at their local MWR facilities.
As things progress we will keep all of your informed. We would like to thank everyone that has taken part in bringing this project that much closer to success: Maxim Magazine; Army Times; Karilynn Galiotos, WDTV Clarksburg (CBS); Nadine Gulit, Operation-Support-Our-Troops.org; Andi Grant, GivetotheTroops.com; Keith Jeffreys, United States Veterans' Artist Alliance; The War Experience Project; Joshua Burns, The War Project; and our more than 400 fans who spread the word about our project everyday; and last but MOST important, our selfless, sacrificing War Fighters across the globe who everyday put their life on the line so we don't have to! God Bless them and bring them home to us safe!
