
Pottsville, PA (November 4th): Sponsored in part by Alpha Media Group/Maxim, M&T Bank, and several local businesses; The Graffiti of War Project: National Art Exposition will be launched in downtown Pottsville, Pennsylvania, at 11 a.m. on 11-11-11. The exhibit opening will be preceded by a Benefit Run—organized by GoW and another sponsor, Schaeffer’s Harley-Davidson—that is scheduled to start in Orwigsburg at 10 a.m. The Benefit Run participants will then arrive at the Garfield Monument in downtown Pottsville at 11 a.m. To commemorate the event, an official flag-raising ceremony will be conducted, and Congressman Tim Holden will be giving a speech. The exhibition will then continue through November 19th at a number of venues in downtown Pottsville, along West Market and Center Streets. Admission to the exhibits will be free, but donations will be accepted
