August 8th, 2011 - The Graffiti of War Project announces the official beginning of the National Gallery Tour showcasing the art from their multi-year effort to collect and document images of art created by service members, civilians and local nationals enduring the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. In addition, this exposition will feature the works of veteran and military artists both here at home and still deployed to combat. This tour will present the little seen perspective from the individual experience of this generation's conflicts. Through the creation of this art, these men and women express the emotions of war and provide an insight to life in combat. The National gallery tour that will showcase the art from the documented images of art seems to be a wonderful idea and should be appreciated. It will definitely a new experience for the people to check out the various art forms there.
